COOKING 101

MASTERING

FOXY TERIYAKI

First and foremost, our delicious recipe is infused with locally sourced wildflower honey from the busiest of bees in the great state of North Carolina. It’s perfect for drizzlin, dippin, & tossin straight out the jar. However, due to the nature of honey, it will scorch at high temps. So, low and slow is the way to go. Also, be sure to give it a shake or stir before using to get those spices moving and chill in the fridge after opening. Now let’s cook!

MARINADE

Use Foxy Teriyaki as a base and mix with your favorite juice, vinegar, oil, spices and herbs.

GRILLIN OR STIR FRYIN

Cook your proteins or veggies first. Remove from heat and baste or toss Foxy Teriyaki all over that goodness. DEVOUR & ENJOY!

ABOUT FOXY TERIYAKI

THE STORY

This little journey begins with a love of teriyaki and a taste I just couldn’t find on the shelf at the grocery store. So, I decided to do the research and learn how to make my own special teriyaki that wasn’t full of preservatives, water, cornstarch, or corn syrup. After many trials and errors in the kitchen, Foxy Teriyaki was finally born. This glaze is exactly the flavor profile I have been searching for and wanted to share it with others.

There is still much work to be done to bring this delicious food product to market for all teriyaki lovers. As we continue to mobilize, I am currently working on giving away 500 free samples to tantalize that teriyaki sweet tooth in hopes of building a community of Foxy Teriyaki connoisseurs! The future of Foxy Teriyaki depends on the consumer. If there is a demand for the glaze that will amaze we will implement the ability to buy online as soon as possible. ~

{THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE BRAND}

THE KITSUNE

The Kitsune (fox) has deep roots throughout the history of Japanese culture and folklore. This mythological fox can manifest itself as a highly intellectual being or be a bit on the devious side. Once it reaches 100 yrs. old it has the ability to shape-shift into human form sometimes as a beautiful women. As it becomes older and wiser, it grows a new tail and once they’ve grown their ninth tail they have reached total enlightenment.

Once the Foxy Teriyaki name was finalized, I couldn’t think of any better icon other than the beloved Kitsune. I have such a fascination with Japanese culture and it’s rich history in cuisine, art, tattooing, architecture, and their dedication to perfection and living in harmony with nature is truly inspiring.
